Aimed the prediction of thin reservoirs of beach bar sands, the ordinary reservoirprediction methods have obvious limitations. It is very significant to that set up a series ofthin reservoirs prediction methods based on existing data and technological conditions. Basedon the characteristics of Es4reservoirs in F151-F147work area, this article designed a seriesof seismic prediction techniques. On this basis, we did single-well and multi-well simulationand comparation using the log curves. In this paper, I analyzed the characteristics of reservoir development of F151-F147workarea using a large number of seismic data, geologic and well logging data of Dongyingdepression. I also designed geological models with different thickness and lithologycombination. In addition, the seismic response characteristics of reservoirs of beach bar sandwere analyzed by studying the relationship among the seismic forward models, seismicresponses and the frequency spectrum features. It provides a theoretical basis for seismicprediction work of thin reservoirs of beach bar sands.Based on the above theoretical models analysis, I carried out fine seismic descriptions ofthe beach bar sands. Firstly, I did calibration through synthetic seismograms according to thewell logging, and also analyzed the calibration results; secondly, I launched fine reservoirstructures analysis and drawn the sand thickness map, from which I can know the lithologyand oil and gas situation; at last, I analyzed the seismic facies features of the destinationLayers.Seismic reservoir prediction has become an important means of identification anddetection of hydrocarbon reservoirs for the seismic data carried a lot of geologic informationabout reservoirs. However, the seismic attribute analysis techniques play an important role inthe prediction of reservoirs. In addition, I studied the seismic attribute by the conventional methods including the wavelet frequency-divided imaging, cluster analysis and waveformclassification after fine seismic calibration and structural interpretation. For the wavelet frequency-divided imaging, I used the three parameter (TP) wavelet andBMSW (A mother wavelet which can match the seismic wavelet). Studies have shown that:when the local structure of the thin layer has been researched, the three parameter wavelet andBMSW are better than the conventional wavelets, such as Mexican wavelet; effect of the threeparameter wavelet is the best. This is because the three parameter wavelet is fit for theanalysis the signals which including not only the slowly varying frequency and amplitudecomponents but also the fast components. On the contrary, BMSW can’t analyze the fastvariable signals. It indicated that the comprehensive uses of a variety of seismic reservoirprediction methods are effective to predict and descript the reservoirs of Beach bar SandReservoirs.
