Based on the probability characteristics are related to time or they are not related totime, the random vibration is divided into two kinds of stationary and non-stationary. Theresponse of the unsteady system under all random excitation, the transient response of thestationary random excitation in the constant system and the response of the non-stationaryrandom excitation are the non-stationary random vibration. The problem of non-stationaryrandom vibration has been the important research areas of the random vibration now. Infact, many physical processes are non-stationary inherently, so the research of the non-stationary random vibration theory has important theoretical significance and applicationvalue of the practical engineering. The statistical characteristics of the stationary processdo not change over time, and the non-stationary process is the time-varying process. Sothe problems non-stationary random vibration is much more complex than stationaryrandom vibration, especially the study of non-stationary random vibration of the plate inthe electromagnetic field is difficult. This paper concentrates on research the elasticrandom vibration of the thin plate which pass into non-stationary random current in theelectromagnetic fields.Based on the random vibration theory of continuum body and plates, shells magnetoelastic theory, the random vibration equation of the non-stationary-random-current-carrying sheet in the electromagnetic field is deduced. The coupling term of the Lorentzforce is assumed to be random distribution of load and damping of the sheet, and therandom displacement response of the sheet is discussed. The autocorrelation function andpower spectral density function of the non-stationary random displacement response of thesheet with current in the electromagnetic field is obtained. Finally, through numericalexample, the power spectral density function of the non-stationary random displacementresponse of the sheet with current. The displacement response, velocity and accelerationpower spectral density plots of the non-stationary random response and stationary randomresponse of the center of rectangle sheet are plotted. The impact of coupling term of theLorentz force and the differences between stationary random vibration and non-stationary random vibration can be illustrated by the changes of the power spectral density functionplots.
