Imaging spectroscopy is a subject rised in1970s, because of the detection equipment and Dataprocessing techniques are getting more and more mature, the imaging spectral device has beensuccessfully used in industry, agriculture, military and so on. In Range-monitoring field, Thedetecting distance plays an important role in the evaluating of imaging spectrometer system. and hasfar-reaching significance for the designing and manufacturing of imaging spectrometer equipment.We choose Range launch vehicle as the research object in this paper, estimating the detecting distanceof imaging spectrometer equipment.The influencing factors the detecting distance of imaging spectrometer equipment include thefollowing aspects: the radiation of target and background,the attenuation of the atmosphere and thethe detection equipment. In the research of the radiation of target and background part, this paperresearching the Infrared Radiation Characteristics of plume, Tailpipe and the Skin of the rocket byusing the Hot air-model and Temperature difference-model. In the research of the attenuation of theatmosphere part, this paper researching the Influencing factors of the attenuation of the atmosphereand making analysis of every factors. In the research of the attenuation of the detection equipmentpart, this paper analysis the attenuation factors by using important index of equipment. At last, thispaper build a model based on NETD in the researching of the detecting distance of Point sourcedetecting. and also build a model based on MRTD in the researching of the detecting distance ofsurface source detecting. this paper also make a description of the Identify level of the detectingequipment by using object identify level-principle based on Johnson Principle Then we get thedetecting distance of every level of the object identify level-principle of the Imaging Spectrometer.
