The collapsibility, structural, loess often impact on various projects.Loess disastermechanism has become a hot research field of geology, geotechnical and difficult.Theirphysical and mechanical properties of loess disasters and loess are inseparable。In large part,the physical and mechanical properties of loess are determined by their microstructure. In thispaper, Lishan, Lintong District, loess is the study base of the physical and mechanicalproperties of loess, Combination of computer graphics and fractal theory, Reasearching loessmicrostructure image processing method and Quantitative methods of its structure, Made thefollowing major achievements:1. Compare the advantages and disadvantages of loess structure image acquisitionmethod based on CT technology and SEM technology. By comparing the differentmagnification SEM photos found that medium magnification area (1000~2000-fold) of theSEM photograph is more suitable for quantitative; we could find that CT technology can benon-destructive observation of the internal structure of the soil and the same pitch and foundthat the number of pores within the loess and their burial depth inversely related, continuousobservation of the internal structure and structure of the soil and provide some technicalsupport for the quantitative.2. Typical digital image processing algorithms on loess microstructure image processingto occur, such as binary denoising vague changes in to facilitate the loess internal structure ofobservation. Comparing the results of the edge detection algorithm on loess microstructureimage, for the nature of the loess microstructure, proposed an improved edge detectionalgorithm. The test results verify the improved algorithm with respect to the good resultsachieved by the original algorithm in the detection of the edge of the loess particles.3. An overview of the the loess internal structure characteristics, and the scientific division of the loess microstructure.Divided the basic unit of loess micro-structure, brieflyintroduced the link between basic unit and arranged relationship. Proposed based on fractaltheory and void ratio of two quantitative methods of the Loess internal structure. Adaptiveprinciple is applied to study the mechanism of the the loess internal structure of fractal and toexplore the relationship between the size and fractal structure. Data type of division of the theloess internal space structure: point, line, surface, body four, emphatically stated planarelements and body like elements contain objects and methods of computation, and body-likeelements of the calculation process, proposedGet loess Creep use of computed tomographytechnology, three-dimensional fractal dimension method calculate the perimeter and area ofpores for the loess pore morphology. This approach simplifies the calculation process betweenthe pore circumference and area, improve the work efficiency of the calculation ofthree-dimensional fractal dimension. Finally, the evaluation of two fractal dimensioncalculation method, comparing the advantages and disadvantages the means of scanningelectron microscopy-based and based on of the technical means of computer tomography.
