Landslide as one of the most common geological disasters often causesenormous life and property loss. Dabie Mountain area is the frequent occurrencearea,we make predictions in advance of the landslide early warning to takeappropriate preventive measures can greatly reduce the danger of landslides.Landslide prediction and warning technology, must be established on the basis ofin-depth study the the landslide geological environment conditions, basic types andsliding mechanism,it should comply with the scientific and accurate,comprehensive principle to identify a sliding law, summarize the critical slipjudgment basis in line with the actual situation.In this paper, we make field investigations to typical landslides on the basis ofthe extensive collection of the the Dabie Mountains landslide geological data, andthen have a profound analysis to the indoor data. The paper make analysis of thefollowing five aspects:①Summarizes the geological setting of the Dabie Mountain area;②Make analysis of the typical landslides then identifies its main features;③Make analysis of the formation mechanism of the Dabie Mountain area landslideon the basis of the typical landslide profiling;④According to the mechanism of its formation, summarize the critical slipjudgment basis;⑤Make the numerical simulation calculation for Shahe Middle School based onthe critical slip judgment basis, and apply the corresponding conventionalcalculation to verify the accuracy and applicability of the criterion.This research work can raise the level of awareness of the Dabie Mountain inAnhui Province landslide Disaster mechanism and control conditions, it alsoprovide the necessary geological data base and critical landslide criterion forwarning technology research in the Dabie Mountain area and the development ofthe Dabie Mountains landslide geological hazard information management.
