Currently, anti-slide pile as a governance Slope important way, has been morewidely used to engineering practice. Due to the limitations of the topographyandgeology of the construction site, more and more anti-slide project uses the hemi-slopepiles as the preferred sliding of retaining structure. Although, the theory on anti-slidepile design has matured, at present, the theory of desinning and calculation method onhemi-slope is very scarce. Due to the existing status research on hemi-slope pilebecomes very necessary. In this paper, through access to a large quantity of informationon the the hemi-slope pile engineering, summarize the lessons of project examples. Onthis basis, a detailed study on design and calculation of the convertional anti-slide pilehas been done to analyze the link between the two kind of anti-slide pile. Obtainedwhen the anchor end of hemi-slope pile reaches a certain depth, the soil around the pileof anchorage segment can be approximated to be seen as a semi-infinite space, then thehemi-slope pile can be calculated in accordance to the calculation method of theconventional anti-slide pile. So this paper focuses on the internal force changing of thehemi-slope pile with anchoring depth increasing. The main results achieved are asfollows:①Through the existing on hemi-slope pile instance, this paper summed up itscauses, and classified according to the slope of the geological and topographicalconditions, as well as analysis of its classification failure mode.②Through the hemi-slope piles anchoring section finite element model toanalyze the impact of anchor length the hemi-slope pile force and get the relationshipbetween the length of the added value of the force curve, as a reference to determine thethe best anchorage depth of hemi-slope pile.③Combined with engineering examples finite element analysis, and withreference to the theoretical value, a comparative analysis of the above-mentionedrelationship has been done, to determine its accuracy.
