Sea water of the Yellow Sea cold water mass in the summer is an excellent low-temperature cold source, which can be used for urban architecture cooling with regional cooling technology. In this paper we chose the location of cold water resources of the Yellow Sea cold water mass and calculate the heat exchange when cold water is transported by submarine pipeline. Based on the2006-2012observational data of cold water mass in North Yellow Sea, Dalian and Shandong Peninsula sea areas, this paper analyzes the Yellow Sea Cold Water Mass Distribution and Variation in Dalian, Weihai and Chengshantou sea areas. Derived the equation of heat conduction, Fourier’s law and Newton’s cooling formula and established the heat transfer numerical model of submarine pipeline. Calculating the temperature change of five kinds of submarine pipeline in Dalian, Weihai and the Chengshantou sea areas with Application of heat transfer numerical model.Comparison the influence of different pipes, pipe diameter and wall thickness for seawater temperature change. Simulate the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea tide and current with the application of FVCOM ocean numerical model, and keep eyes on the tidal characteristics of Dalian and Shandong Peninsula sea areas. Analyzed the characteristics of M2, S2, K1,01distribution in the sea area bottom, supporting the laying of submarine pipelines and submarine erosion studiesThe using conditions of cold water is best in Dalian sea area, Chengshantou follows Weihai worst. Cold water using conditions in Chengshantou sea area is the best.Due to the presence of "cold water tongue", Dalian Sea cold water mass close to the land,9℃isotherm is less than9km away from the land, bottom temperature at "cold water tongue" is about10℃in September. The Chengshantou Sea cold water mass boundaries seasonal changes, in line with the50m isobaths high land about30km away. Water intake at the water temperature of the cold water mass increased from mid-July7℃to10℃around the end of August.Compared heat transfer calculation results, the Dalian seawater temperature minimum, the Chengshantou followed Weihai highest. In the heat transfer calculation of Dalian,the maximum temperature rise of cement pipe is1.3℃,the minimum is0.05℃;the maximum temperature rise of PE pipe is0.6℃,the minimum is0.02℃;the maximum temperature rise of FRP pipe is0.5℃,the minimum is0.02℃;the maximum temperature rise of insulated steel pipe is0.3℃,the minimum is0.02℃;the maximum temperature rise of PVC pipe is0.2℃,the minimum is0.01℃.In the heat transfer calculation of Weihai,the maximum temperature rise of cement pipe is5.1℃,the minimum is0.5℃;the maximum temperature rise of PE pipe is2.9℃,the minimum is0.23℃;the maximum temperature rise of FRP pipe is1.9℃,the minimum is0.15 ℃;the maximum temperature rise of insulated steel pipe is1.5℃,the minimum is0.2℃;the maximum temperature rise of PVC pipe is1.0℃,the minimum is0.1℃.In the heat transfer calculation of Chengshantou,the maximum temperature rise of cement pipe is5.28,the minimum is0.4℃;the maximum temperature rise of PE pipe is2.8℃,the minimum is0.18℃;the maximum temperature rise of FRP pipe is1.8℃,the minimum is0.12℃;the maximum temperature rise of insulated steel pipe is1.4℃,the minimum is0.17℃;the maximum temperature rise of PVC pipe is1.0℃,the minimum is0.06℃.The same pipe, pipe wall thickness under the same conditions, the larger the pipe diameter seawater temperature is smaller; under the same conditions of the pipe diameter, pipe wall thickness greater the seawater temperature is the smaller; same pipeline conditions, conveyance greater the velocity seawater temperature the smaller.Dalian, the conveyance line sediment type clayey silt (Shepard triangular diagram method) or sandy silt (Folk triangular diagram method) based; Weihai, water conveyance line type of bottom sediments in coastal waters clayey silt, the distribution range of about10km off the coast of sandy silt (the Folk triangle graphic method) or silt (Shepard triangular diagram method), Chengshantou, offshore seabed observations, off the coast of seafloor sediment type of clay silt. From the FVCOM numerical results can be seen that the underlying trend in the offshore waters of the submarine aqueduct path smaller and smaller average velocity, maximum flow rate of about20cm/s, if the pipes do landfill disposal can reduce pipe by water erosion; in the inshore waters, particularly the Chengshantou coastal waters underlying the flow rate, the calculation of the maximum flow rate of up to about60cm/s, during the pipe-laying special attention to prevent a pipeline destroyed by water erosion.In conclusion, the using condition of cold water mass in Dalian is the best. In Shandong Peninsula sea area, the using condition of cold water mass in Chengshantou sea area is better than others.
