Vehicle dynamic parameters is the direct embodiment of the car running state, it not onlyhas important significance in the analysis of vehicle performance, but also is controlparameters of some key control device on vehicle, such as esp etc. The measurement ofvarious vehicle dynamic parameters is not only requirement for the development of testsystem, but also is a key to the promotion of vehicle performance. With the constraints ofsensor technology and cost, direct measurement of vehicle dynamic parameters also havecertain limitation. Hence, low-cost, high-accuracy and reliable methods to test automobiledynamic parameters are of great practical significance and theoretical value.This thesis is to expand the relationship of multi-gps with gps signal as the basicparameters and to study the measurement method of vehicle dynamic parameters based on thesingle gps signal. Firstly, the thesis has systematic study of framework of multi-gps and therelationship between multi-gps measurement positioning parameters and the key dynamicparameters of automobile. In order to eliminate the error of gps localization, the thesispresents a correction method for measuring data, using geometric constraints betweenmulti-gps architecture. The method is divided into initial correction and real-time correction,which can effectively guarantee the relative position of multi-gps and the accuracy of carrunning track.Based on multiple gps architecture,, use three gps composed the measuring system ofkey dynamic parameters of vehicle. To verify the measurement, the attitude and headingreference system (gyroscope) are implanted in the test system hardware, and on the basis of it,established varied multiple gps architecture for analysis, such as triangle, equilateral triangle,and consider the impact of different length and other factors.This paper develops the measurements system for vehicle dynamic parameters usingLabVIEW software.the software primarily contains such key components, serialcommunication, correction method of data acquisition and vehicle positioning parameterscalculation based on gps.the system measures the crucial dynamic parameters based on singlegps such as vehicle trajectory, speed, yaw rate, sideslip angle, lateral acceleration and steeringradius etc.Finally, the paper test and verify the jobs with real vehicle, according to the nationalstandards of evaluation for vehicle controllability, the steady circular, serpentine andsteering portability are done using the muti-gps measurements system, in the measurementssystem, gyroscope data is acquired, which is took as the benchmark for dynamic parametersmeasure of muti-gps.through real vehicle test, the thesis completes parameters measurementsof the vehicle trajectory, speed, yaw rate, sideslip angle, lateral acceleration and steeringradius etc. By comparing the measurement results, it indicates that the muti-gps vehicle dynamicparameters measurements system not only can complete the measurements for vehicledynamic parameters but also has good single data fusion degree,high accuracy and highreliability.Data processing method of vehicle dynamic parameters using muti-gps and arrangementsof muti-gps are studied in the thesis,which provides a reliable basis for subsequentapplications,and lays the foundation for further vehicle performance evaluation anddevelopments of control system.
