Nowadays, there exist territory disputes among many countries in the world. It’s not onlygood for the prosperity and stability near National boundary of those countries, but also bringstremendous effects for protect their National territory sovereignty and National benefit, if wesolve these questions as soon as possible. In the process of negotiation on territory dispute,everyone must try their best to get more territory, which demand higher precision of thenegotiation result and persuasion. Concerning what is mentioned above, we carry out detailedstudy and analyses on delimitation theory and relative systems to find that the match result is sobad between generated boundary line and real terrain that we need improve it by hand, which notonly increases the labor, but also delays the course of the negotiation delimitation. As a result, weput key research on the extraction and match of the boundary line in effect.1. First, we describe the conception of National boundary, its types, basic delimitationtheories and technology. We explore the study meanings of the extraction and match of terrainfeatures line and analyse current study condition. we find the limitation and main researchcontents as well as the whole study thought.2. We analyse some dispute area where physiognomy characteristics is complex and putforward the technology method on the optimization of terrain features line. On the basis ofstudying a method used to distill terrain features line called the combination of plane curvatureand slope, we get the relative model of the method mentioned above through grid analysis andArcGIS Module Builder and get basic terrain features line. Then, we use the technology ofdigital image disposal to optimize the basic terrain features line step by step and resolve theexisting fragmentation, crossing and closing and so on. What’s more, we encode the terrainfeatures line by the ranks and carry out selection on them in order to get main terrain featuresline, which provides supports for the match of the boundary line and the terrain features line.3. Through the study on match rules, we confirm the basic principles of selecting terrainfeatures line during the match. While bringing the least-cost route analysis in ArcGIS into thematch, we construct the match model based on grid data with the help of match rules andModule Builder. Moreover, we put forward double stack to assist the match, and realize thematch of boundary line and terrain features line based on vector data under the guide of matchrules.4. Finally, we realize the technology of the extraction and match of terrain features line, putthem into effect and get realative experiment system. Most importantly, we conduct validations,analyses and comparisions on the basis of real data in some dispute area.
