Reaction-diffusion epidemic systems have been the research topicin the ifeld of medicine and ecology. The results of the research ofreaction-diffusion epidemic systems contribute to predict the devel?oping tendency of infectious diseases, to determine the key factors ofthe spread of infectious disease and to seek the optimum strategies ofpreventing and controlling the spread of the infectious diseases.These sections of this paper are organized as follows:In the second chapter, we research the existence, monotonicity,uniqueness and stability of a S—I epidemic system, and we obtainthe minimal wave speed of the epidemic.In the third chapter, we give the summary and discussion of thefull text.
