At present, the technology of the ground-based GPS deducing atmospheric precipitation has already widely researched and applied in the field of meteorology. In this paper, we use continuous observation data of2012from nine stand:BJFS station, shao station, lhaz station and kunm station,(IGS stations)and1qua station, tanz station, shil station, xiah station, qinl station,(CORS regional station) to analysis the theory and method for the determination of atmospheric precipitation and error. And the main content of this paper is how to use the GAMIT software to automatic batch processing and related data extraction from large quantities of GPS observation data. Through comprehensively analyzing the calculating results to obtain the useful conclusions. In this paper, the main research contents are as follows:(1) It introduces the importance of water vapor monitoring, the shortages of the traditional detection means of atmospheric water vapor, and emphasizes the characteristics and advantage of ground-based GPS detection of atmospheric water vapor, and discusses the content of GPS deducing atmospheric water vapor the process.(2) GAMIT software is GPS data processing software for calculating high accuracy, one of this article’s research content is how to improve the efficiency of data processing through writing automatic batch command scripts of data automatically calculating and data extraction.(3) One of the focuses of this article is Weighted mean temperature Partial regionalization.Using kunming sounding data, by statistical method,it sets up in kunming region local weighted average temperature calculation model, and analyzes its precision. It demonstrates Bevis empirical model is also applicable in Kunming, after analyzing the applicability of the model for Bevis experience formula in kunming region.(4) Through analysis data results of the BJFS station availability ofreal-time meteorological data to obtain the GPS deduce the atmosphere can influence the accuracy of precipitation. Calculating data results between different stations shows that GPS/PWV not only affected by altitude, but also be affected by the geographic latitude, atmospheric circulation, topography and other factors. (5) These six CORS station(Kunm station, lqua station, qinl station, shil station, tanz, xiah station) data analysis show that GPS/PWV may change significantly, GPS/PWV in December it is the lowest position of the year, march it begins to increase gradually, July it arrives to the highest, GPS/PWV value decreased gradually in8-12month. And kunming area the average seasonal change characteristics of GPS/PWV corresponding better to climate characteristics.That is low-latitude plateau monsoon climate dry wet season and dry season is usually in November to April, the rainy season is usually in May and October.(6)Through these six CORS station(Kunm station, lqua station, qinl station, shil station, tanz, xiah station) data analysis indicates that atmospheric precipitation of the dianchi lake surrounding area has influenced by dianchi lake,in different location and direction of dianchi lake,the impact is different, mainly affected by the dianchi climate, wind direction.(7) Kunming and Beijing heavy rain process in5.24and7.21researches show that when the GPS can precipitation increase rapidly, high value, and a larger relative to the average of the deviation, Water vapor in the atmosphere rose sharply and can provide abundant water vapor condition for rain, this meet one of the rainfall conditions the heavy rain the weather forecast has good instruction significance.
