1The feeding habits of Misgurnus Anguilicaudatus during the early developmental stageThe diet composition and feeding selectivity of Misgurnus anguillicaudatus were studied in this paper. The results were as follow:Misgurnus anguillicaudatus fed mainly on zooplankton during the early development stage. Larvae fed on rotifer in7th and9th day after hatching, the numerical and weight percent of rotifer were98.73%,79.59%and97.59%,66.67%respectively, holding overwhelming superiority. The numerical and weight percentage of Cladocerans were41.15%and98.04%for day-13, while the percentage of Copepoda were30%and62.03%for day-17. Though the numerical percentage of Cladocerans and Copepoda were under20%, the weight percentage was as high as95%for day-24and day-31, Cladocerans and Copepoda were still the main food component from day-13to day-31. The larval Misgurnus anguillicaudatus showed strong preference to Brachionus, Keratella and Trichocerca, as well as Moina micrura to some extent, while avoiding Copepoda for day-7and day-9. The juvenile chose Moina, Diaphanosoma, Cyclops and Sinocalanus as their favorite food for day-13and day-17, while it was still interested in Brachionus and Keratella. In day-24and day-31, the juvenile didn’t choose rotifer actively, but ate Moina, Simocephalus, Cyclops, Sinocalanus instead.2The feeding rhythm and daily feeding rate of Misgurnus Anguilicaudatusduring the early developmental stageThe feeding rhythm and daily feeding rate of Misgurnus anguillicaudatus which reared in the pond were studied in this paper. The results indicated that Misgurnus anguillicaudatus showed obvious feeding rhythm in early stage, while it had different feeding rhythm during different development stage. The feeding pick appeared in9:00and15:00for day-9, while it appeared in9:00and15:00-18:00for day-14; So it mainly fed in daily in this period. The pick of feeding incidence and fullness index were all appeared at6:00andl8:00, while it also had obvious feeding behaviour in the midnight; So it mainly fed in morning-dusk and night. The daily feeding rate of day-9, day-14, day-22and day-31were61.47%,30.68%,12.72%and9.189%respectively.
