Due to thespecial position, the Terahertz Science and Technology applied in very many areas.Therefore, many countries pay attention on the research of the Terahertz Science andTechnology so that it acquired unprecedented development.There are many problems in terahertz applications. One of these problems is notstable output and high-power source, and the electric vacuum device backward waveoscillator has the possibility to solve this problem. The core component of terahertzsource is the electron-optical system. Because of frequency achieve the terahertz band,the wavelength became shorter and shorter. At the same time, we made research of the shapeof the sheet electron and the edge electron trajectory equations through the movement ofthe sheet beam.According to the requirement, used the particle simulation software to simulate thesheet beam gun, and made a study of the some factors influence on the electron gun’s performance parameters, such as the electron gun focusing electrode shape and structuresize,cathode shapes, and the axial magnetic field location.Because of the transmissionof the sheet beam is not stable, we made a study of effective inhibition of thedeformation and distortion of the electron beam focusing magnetic field—wigglermagnetic field, and simulate the magnetic field according to the required magnetic fieldsize requirements.Finally, joined in the experiment of the electric vacuum, and understood thespecific steps of the assembly as well as experimental processing of the sheet electronoptical system.
