A Study On NXCORS Construction And Some Key Problems

In recent years, the needs of national economic construction promoted the development of space positioning technology, Global Navigation Satellites System (GNSS)represented by GPS has developed in high speed and widely application.As a new positioning mode using GNSS positioning technology, the Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) has become a hotspot in this field. This years in China CORS system construction is in full swing, a number of CORS system of different types, different functions, different features and remarkable benefit have building up successfully by cities, regions and Various industries. But as new information technology infrastructure and a new generation of measurement mode, CORS’s work method, construction, service systems, and positioning accuracy still need to be studied. Based on the project of NingXia Continuously Operating Reference Stations (NXCORS), this paper made a comprehensive and systematic analysis of CORS system.This paper first summarizes the research background and the main content briefly, introduces the domestic and foreign development present situation, introduces CORS’s basis theory, positioning principle, working procedures, characters and applications comprehensively.Then combining the construction process of NXCORS, introduces the construction of CORS’s each parts. Finally, focus on several key issues in the construction of NXCORS system, including:the key problem about how to select CORS station site reasonably, the field testing and accuracy analysis, NXCORS system testing, the analysis of the development perspective of NXCORS.Through the study, this paper ummarized the key problems of the CORS station site’s select and test, and the system accuracy test showed that NXCORS conform to the requirements of the specification completely. Then look ahead the significance and the system services when NXCORS officially begins operation in future. The study on this paper put forward some suggestions for the development and adaptation of NXCORS, and gives some reference to the CORS construction of other project.
