This paper study the stochastic permanence and extinction of a stochastic ratio-dependent model under regime switching. In the permanent case we estimate the limitof the average in time of the sample path of the solution. Its bounds are related to thestationary probability distribution of the Markov chain and the parameters of the system.Finally, we illustrate the results by two examples.
