Climate change is an important impact factor of the interannual variability of vegetationactivity. The climatic factors, such as temperature, precipitation are the necessaryenvironmental conditions of plant growth and development, and all the factors have essentialaffect on the vegetation growth, phenology, internal water relationships and gas exchange.Thechange of vegetation is the indicator about the climate change.Based on GIMMS NDVI dataand weather data from1982to2006, The data of IPCC-AR4,spatio-temporal dynamics ofNDVI and NPP and their correlation with climatic factors were analyzed with ArcGIS, SPSSand related statistical analysis software, The purpose of this paper is to study thespatio-temporal variation of vegetation and climate characteristics and their correlations s ofKorea and provide a scientific basis for coping climate change. The main conclusions are asfollows:1) from1982to2006, NDVI,NPP and annual precipitation decreased in North Korea.temperature has rised significantly. The trend is different in different area.2) from1982to2006, NDVI had a significant correlation with temperature and aninsignificant correlation with precipitation in North Korea.3)Base on the climate data from the IPCC-AR4, annual precipitation and temperaturerised in the plans what are A2and B1.But the trend is rised more significantly under the planof A2.
