Goldmine is an important mineral resource, Ural Mountain region of Inner MongoliaHadamengou gold deposit is an important one.Hadamengou gold deposit is located in Agarutaisumu, Jiuyuan District, Baotou, InnerMongolia. Plate tectonics lie on north margin of the Northern China platform, which isgeologically favorable for ore formation. It was first discovered by gold armed police in1986, they have found a total of seven pulse group and69gold veins in total since then,defining this mine as a super large gold mine.Information from previous study as well as from mining exploration is widelyreferenced in this paper, and detailed field geological survey, ground and tunnel analysisare used as additional materials to investigate mineralogy, petrology, ore geochemistry,isotopes and other aspects, the result clarifies the geological features of the area, andsummaries material source and ore genesis.The outcrop in this region is relatively simple, which are Archean Ural mountainsgroup, Neoproterozoic of the Erdao formation, Mesoproterozoic slag Altay mountainsgroup and so on. In addition, large area of Quaternary strata is exposed south to the mine.Rocks are mainly gneiss, amphibolite rocks, garnet-biotite-hornblende-plagioclase gneiss,marble and local granulite. These metamorphic assemblages suggest a high amphibolitefacies Most structural features are oriented east to west, and Urals-Daqingshan piedmontand mountain fault is the biggest one in the region. This fault connects North and Southmargin of the Ural mountain, which also spatially controls the gold distribution. The mostimportant intrusive rock is located west of Hadamengou Dahuabei granite and northernShadegai rock.The majority of gold is found in high-grade metamorphic strata in Archean WulashanGroup. Ore body is strictly structurally controlled by fracture zone. The geological body ismainly composed of gold-bearing quartz-feldspar veins and few gold-bearing alteredrocks. After analyzing the geochemical signature and isotopic information, it is found that theore is primarily from deep source, carried out through a mixture of magmatic fluid andmeteoric water.According to the information collected from previous study as well as data collectedfrom the field, we concluded the ore genesis is strictly structurally controlled in veins, hightemperature potassium rich hydrothermal gold deposit.
