The Gao DaPingXiang of Renhuai city, located on the northwest of Guizhou Province, the middle reaches of Red river, the north of western part of DaLou mountains, is the important agricultural base. Understanding the chemical characteristics of local karst groundwater and the karst water circulation, is of great significance to reasonable develop and utilize water resources, rational allocation plan for industrial and agricultural production in advance and sustainable use of water resources.Through the study of major chemical composition of groundwater of target area by site surveying and sampling analysis, this research gets the conclusions follow:(1) It’s complicated to study the chemical characteristics of groundwater. The main form of groundwater is HCO3-Ca+Mg-based, which mainly spreads over Loushanguanqun srata in the term of karst fissure water. Others include HCO3+SO4-Ca, HCO3-Ca, HCO3+SO4-Ca+Mg and SO4+HCO3-Ca+Mg-based. The dominating cations are Ca2++Mg2+in groundwater and occupy more than70%of total cations. They are spreaded on Loushanguanqun srata. HCO3-+CO32-are leading in anions and take up more than60%.(2) It can be discovered that the groundwater owned abnormal high value from Luojiaju to Huangshuigou because of formation lithology and man-made pollution, by studying of its ionized water field,.(3) The Mg2+and HCO3-ions have strong correlation in groundwater ionic components. The correlation coefficients between Mg2+and TDS, SO42-andTDS, HCO3-andTDS are all larger than0.3and indicate that there are huge correlation between these ions. The pH value and the correlation coefficients of TDS, Mg2+, HCO3-are strong negative correlation.(4) The cluster analysis to water samples was conducted by using of Matlab. The results showed that supplies, runoffs and drain conditions for most water samples are identical own to the karst development extent in target area and they belong to the same karst system and can be classfiled as a group.(5) Underground water in the study region is bluk-flow and tunnel. Three karast springs are exposed in this area. Yukonggou spring have features of big runoff area, deep depth and big scale of runoff, plentiful of underground water resource. The fish colporate springs and bars on spring chemical runoff are in a large scale. And they h ave a favorable water circle exchange condition, which is suitble for the developmen t and utilization.
