The Evaluation Of Internal Trust In IPD Project Management Team Based On Fuzzy Cognitive Maps

The trust among the parties involved is the key successful factor in the team ofintegrated project delivery. And the trust in the IPD team plays an important role to torealize the information sharing among team members and help the IPD mode to besuccessful. But at present stage, there are still gaps and inadequacies in the study ofthe IPD team trust issues. The main purpose of the paper is to explore the evaluationof internal trust in the IPD team and offer reference and inspiration for theestablishment of IPD team trust system.Based on the study of the literatures and the characteristics of IPD team, thepaper refines the evaluation factors which affect the establishment of trust among IPDteam members, uses the method of factor analysis to refine again and evaluate thefactors refined before, and then builds the evaluation model of internal trust betweenmembers by fuzzy cognitive maps. Stable trust evaluation model is gained after thenon-linear Hebbian learning algorithm is used in improving the fuzzy cognitive maps,and the important factors which impact the establishment of IPD team are alsoobtained.The results of the study indicate that, the trust factors we selected have positiveor negative effects on the trust formation of IPD teams from different angles. Amongthe factors we selected, eight of them, just like" the reliability of team members" and"the cooperation between team member", are closely related to the other factors,which can impact the trust formation of IPD teams from various angles. So the teammembers should pay more attention on them when the team is building trustrelationship. In this paper, we get the stable trust evaluation model, which can providehelp and reference in building the trust in IPD team. And the conclusions of the papercan also provide a theoretical help for effective implement of IPD in constructionproject.
