With the increasing demand of the high-resoution remote sensing images bymilitary and civilians, Countries around the world are optimistic about the prospectof higher resolution remote sensing images. However, improving the resolution willinevitably lead to some questions,such as the caliber of the optical system increases,thereby increasing the processing cost and technical difficulty of the optical system.How to achieve high-resolution optical system with a smaller relative aperture hasbecome a hot topic of space remote sensing field. The small relatively aperture willcause the system MTF lower than requirements. To solve this problem, this articleconsidered the role of image processing technology for the imaging process, whilethe optical system is designed. This article mainly contains the following content:First of all, this paper analyzed the factors that affect the modulation transferfunction of the imaging process. Compared the influence on the modulation transferfunction of the optical system, detectors and satellite motion and other factors Whenusing different parameters.And use the software to simulate the imaging process.Secondly, the MTFC has been applied to different degraded images, andcompared the difference of the effects. After analyzed these results, the threshold ofmodulation transfer function signal to noise ratio and dynamic signal-to-noise of theoptical system has been given. Determined the maximum F number of the opticalsystem can be used.Finally, combined with previous research results, the optical system parametershad been analyzed to determine the structure of the optical system. At last, a opticalsystem had been carried out which well meet the requirments, analyzed the imagequality and tolerances of the optical system.
