The study area is located in the southern margin of the North China platform, and thePolymetallogenic mineralization belt of the Waifangshan Mountain in the middle ofMachaoying fracture. The structure and the magmatic intrusion are frequent. Themetallogenic conditions are advantage. The main ore-controlling factor is the structureand the cryptoexplosive breccia.Granite dikes, Heyu granite batholite andcryptoexplosive breccias have a close relationship with the metallogenesis. The mainmetallogenetic stage is late Yanshannian. The Rb-Sr isochron age is143Ma±82Ma. Au,Pb, Zn, fluorite vein are intergrowth. The ore deposit has the characteristics ofsubvolcanic hydrothermal type and the zoning model is Au Pb and Mo (from top tobottom).The the physical property of the mineralized altered rock and surrounding rock areobvious in study area. This provides the geophysical precondition to explore theexplosive breccia type and structural altered rock type nonferrous metal deposits byIP、EH4methods.Based on systemic survey, field sampling and taking structure-magmatic formation,deposit, regional metallogeny as the background, the research team mainly makesresearch on the mineralization and the metallogenic background of Xiahaoping golddeposit, summarizing the mineralization regularity, establishing metallogenic model,positioning prediction the blind orebody in the deep using the motheds of physicalgeography and geochemistry then circled three metallogenic prediction target areas:I type gold mine positioning prediction target area--F40altered fracture zone blindorebody (buried deeper beyond200m). It has already been foundJiuzhanggou--Dongwan large gold deposit in this area, the hydrothermal liquid movedfrequently, and deep of it was invaded by granodiorite, high precision magnetic anomalyon the earth’s surface. The abnormal of the elements Au, Ag, Cu, Pb, Zn confirmed withthe IP section in the deep area, named it I type target area. It is regarded as a better areaof prospecting. The orebody has a large extending in the deep; the forecasting resourcequantity would be5340kg. It is confirmed by drilling in this area. The thickness of theore is0.8m; the grade of the Au is3.24×10-6. It shows that the predicting result is believable.II type gold mine positioning prediction target area: deep part of Shaowayao fracturezone and EH4low resistivity zone of cryptoexplosive breccia body. Heyu rock massintruded in the front area. Tectonic conditions and metallogenic background areadvantage. The structures bear minerals themselves (Dianfang gold deposit). It has a lotof useful information in East Bailugou intermediate gradient, the orebody may bemainly occurrd in Shaowayao fracture zone; the later has Heyu rock mass, the analogybetween the exploited area and the Xiahaoping cryptoexplosive breccia is very obviousin the part of EH4in the lower renting area but the scale of the ore deposit is limited.This prediction results provide theoretical evidence of deep Xiahaoping mine areaand the regional prospecting.
