Research On The Relation Between Ownership Structure And Disclosure Of The Environmentai Information Disclosure

There exists relationship between ownership structure of the company andquality of environmental information disclosure. If environmental information is notcarried out or disclosure of information is not objectively unreasonable, the qualityand control of internal information will down and lack, which affects the interests ofstakeholders.We put forward our concept framework based on the study situation ofenvironmental information disclosure through positive studies and theory analysis.Firstly, this thesis summarizes the fundamental theory of environmental informationdisclosure. Secondly, it analyzes the conditions of current ownership structure andenvironmental information disclosure about China’s listed companies. Thirdly, thethesis puts forward hypothesis to the theory analysis and constructs relevant models.Based on basic theories of the company’s ownership structure, this paper conductstheoretical analysis between ownership structure of the company and quality ofenvironmental information disclosure from several aspects. The study takes all theA-shares listed on Shanghai stock exchange as instances. After eliminating a smallnumber of companies which have incomplete ownership structure and environmentalinformation disclosure, according to the data provided by the appraisal results ofenvironmental information disclosure about listed companies issued on Shanghaistock exchange in2011,the paper selects288listed companies as sample, establishesmulti-logistic model, conducts theoretical hypothesis and empirical inspection onrelationship between structure of ownership quality environmental informationdisclosure. The empirical analysis explains the correlation between ownershipstructure and information disclosure of environmental of China’s listed companies. Inthe end, the thesis puts forward some advice, which is significant to improve thereforms of ownership structure and the environmental information disclosure forChina’s listed companies.
