Electronic Manufacturing Services EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Service)conventional electronic OEM or OEM manufacturing, international industrial outsourcingtrends in the1980s and the rise of a new industry and with the economic and marketglobalization wave swept around the world, EMS industry also flourish. According to theIDC study shows that in2011the global electronics manufacturing services (EMS)industry revenue increased by21%to U.S.$18,681million, while the proportion ofrevenue generated from China, nearly a third. Today, electronics manufacturing servicesEMS as a business strategy by IBM, Cisco, Compaq, Dell and other large electronicequipment manufacturers OEMs are widely utilized. In recent years, many famouselectronic equipment manufacturing enterprises regard the design and marketing as acompetitive core, and outsource the manufacturing part of the specialized and difficult tohandle, in order to improve business efficiency and competitiveness.In today’s global economic integration, the development of enterprises have beenaway from the slow accumulation of wealth in the last general model of development,through the establishment of a forward-looking strategic development planning andmanagement, the growth of enterprises can achieve the development of super-speed for theEMS industry enterprises, the development of a forward-looking strategy for enterprisedevelopment, to grasp market opportunities, enterprises grew rapidly, in order to establishtheir own core competitiveness, invincible position in the market, is the most importantand successful key. The core of the strategic development of management to seek businesssustained competitive advantage, competitive advantage is the core of all strategy, it isultimately derived from the enterprise to create value for customers, this value to create itcosts more than the company. In general, enterprises through three competitive strategies togain competitive advantage: cost advantage, differentiation advantage, the advantage of thebenefits of centralization.Under this background, taking the actual example of cost management of SuzhouEtron Electronics Co., Ltd., to explore how to effectively use strategic management to adapt to constantly changing external environment, to establish a competitive advantage inthe competition with their peers. The same time, the article Suzhou Etron Electronics Co.,Ltd. located in the EMS industry analysis, as well as Suzhou Etron Electronics Co., Ltd.,the internal situation analysis, and then combine the Suzhou Etron Electronics Co., Ltd.own the actual development of the SWOT analysis clearly its strengths and weaknesses,opportunities and threats. Understanding of the issues currently faced by the enterprise andthe root of the problem, so as to explore the success of the Suzhou Etron Electronics Co.,Ltd. and the opportunities and threats facing the Suzhou Etron Electronics Co., Ltd.,pursuant to which the feasible strategy recommendations and make appropriaterecommendations on the implementation of the strategy from the reality.
