In recent years, endlessly emerging food safety and product quality problems, such as tonyred, dyeing steamed bread, drainage oil, melamine, Shuanghui clenbuterol, plasticizer, hormone food, melamine, all kinds of milk powder incident and so on, have gained national attention. Many enterprises whose corporate culture construction was once praised by the media and the public are now strongly condemned by society, and have fallen or fade out of public view. At the same time we express our deep regret at those enterprises, we also begin to think about various new problems on the corporate culture construction. Such words are many people’s understanding of corporate culture construction:"culture is a basket, which you can put anything in","corporate culture is just to buy advanced brand","corporate culture is just to shout slogans or to hold some activities". So now it is not difficult for us to find the existing problems about corporate culture construction in our country:to understand corporate culture construction vulgarizing and simply, utilitarian motivation and operation formalization.The phenomenon, corporate culture mismatches management, exits in many companies, and corporate culture become a tool and a beautiful coat for enterprise’s external publicity, and even it is regarded as the appendage of business data. Actually, corporate growth is not just the growth in "quantity", the more critical is the promotion in "quality". Many enterprises are advocating their moral philosophy and mission, but at the same time, they will seek nothing but profits and lose mission when they see interests, so corporate mission becomes empty talk. Talker is always more than actor, and the proposed corporate mission is just an advertised guise to the society. Such enterprises may get temporary results of operations, however, there is no doubt that their development is unhealthy and will not last, because these enterprises’corporate culture construction loses the foundation of the corporate ethics and lose the cohesion owing to losing corporate mission during.Based on my deeply thinking about various new problems and sharp criticisms emerging in the construction of corporate culture, this paper studies corporate culture construction and corporate growth from two dimensions of corporate ethics and corporate mission. This research defined the concepts of corporate ethics, corporate mission, corporate culture and corporate growth in the process of review of related classical theory and the mainstream view. This study adopt case study method and select Meide Casting company and Huawei company as two cases. Through serious methods such as survey, interview, internal and external publication and network, this study gets lots of firsthand and second-hand materials, and sorts out these materials.Through deep analysis of the two cases, and research refined and summarized four propositions which are the paper’s basic theoretical perspectives on corporate culture construction and corporate growth. The propositions are followings:(1) Corporate culture construction need and should stick to corporate ethics, which is the foundation, and insist on corporate mission, which is the guidance of the corporate culture construction.(2) Enterprise leader’s management philosophy and values are the important factors affecting the formation of corporate values, and enterprise leader’s sticking to corporate ethics and insisting on corporate mission are the guarantee of successfully shaping corporate values.(3) Corporate values are the source of driving corporate growth, and corporate culture is the core strength affecting corporate growth.(4) Corporate system construction and organization construction are the focus of corporate culture’s falling to the ground, so corporate culture should be taken as the basis of corporate system optimization and organization optimization; corporate culture, corporate system and corporate organization together drive corporate growth.Based on systematically thinking over the four propositions, related theory and practical problems of corporate culture construction, the study build a theoretical model about corporate culture construction and corporate growth from two dimensions of corporate ethics and corporate mission.Through study, the paper puts forward the following view:Corporate culture construction need and should stick to corporate ethics and insist on corporate mission, which is the necessary condition to drive corporate growth healthily and sustainably. Enterprise leader should have lofty value pursuit, and have the heart of fear and the sense of mission, and further on, they must stick to ethics and insist on mission in their management practices so as to move the staff. Such corporate culture of indomitable spirit should be taken as the basis of corporate system optimization and organization optimization and drive corporate growth together with corporate system and corporate organization.
