Abstract/Summary:
With the development of technology, esp. the high-tech development, the exported project is changing its mode from labor-intensive industries to technology-intensive and labor-intensive integrated industry. In this trend, complex electronic engineering system projects becomes to exported aboard since the sufficient in domestic. However, this kind of project is different with road, bridge, power and pipeline construction ones, which technology factors take an important role in project success.This paper take Australia A project as an example, in order to discuss the risk identification, evaluation, response and monitoring in whole project management procedure. In risk identification step, experience analysis, expert surveys, graphical method and the SWOT analysis are discussed and described with real examples. In risk elevation step, expert scoring is used in Australia A project, which also focus on different project stages. It is obliviously that, one risk degree will be changed in different project period, therefore, different plan need to be prepared according to the changes.Another principle thread is the six factors of risk factors, namely political, economic, social, technical, management and others, this project risk management also base on these factors. Due to the special nature of overseas complex electronic systems engineering, the focus of the six aspects domestic projects will be slightly different.Complex electronic systems project has its own specialties, moreover, its is for overseas construction, therefore, it results a more temporary risk factors and any new potential risk factors need to be done in accordance with the risk management process. However, even a detailed methodology, specific risk of its solution is not theoretical study can be fully resolved. The characteristics of this paper are the large number of real cases, and their solutions. Meantime, it could also be the reference of similar projects.
