An Empirical Study Of The Effort Factors Of India’s Anti-dumping Against China’s Chemical Products

Anti-dumping is a trade protection measure allowed by WTO, it can reject foreign products and not easy to invite retaliation, with the development of trade liberalization and globalization, more and more countries adopt anti-dumping to protect domestic industry. From January1,1995to December31,2010,chinese exporting chemical products suffered161times anti-dumping investigation initiated by foreign countries,66times are initiated by Inida,44times were carried out final anti-dumping measures, it caused great harm to Chinese chemical products’export, seriously hindered the development of Chinese chemical industry and the whole national economy.This article uses simple game model to analyse why chinese chemical products suffered foreign countries’anti-dumping,adopts conditional logistic regression model to creen factors which have notable effect on anti-dumping investigation which India initiated towards chinese chemical products,adopts Logistic model to screen factors which have notable effect on final anti-dumping measures which India carried on chinese chemical products. Besides,this article provides suggestion for Chinese chemical industry’s exporting enterprises, Try to avoid anti-dumping from India,it has importat meaning for chinese chemical lines’development and chinese overall economy’s development.
