As everyone knows, Singapore is a country which has small area and scarce naturalresources. Its population is5180thousand, its land area is only715square kilometers;its history is50years. Today, Singapore has become the world’s third largest oil refiningcenter and the foreign exchange market, the fifth major financial center. In the2012"Global Competitiveness Report" published by world economic forum, it ranked second.It ranked third in foreign trade and investment and its one of the most importantcountries in new developed countries of the world. These achievements are known asSingapore miracle. Through research, domestic and foreign scholars found Singapore’seconomic development is based on its seizing the international opportunities, makingfull use of foreign capital strength and tht adjustment of industrial structure timely. Atthe same time, since the reform and opening up, China’s economy has made greatachievements, forming a large scale and complex structural industrial system. Butcompared with developed countries, the third industrial structure is imbalance and notreasonable. In the new international division of labor form, China will be faced withcompetition from the low labor price coming from other developing countries. Whenthe foreign capital withdrawal from China to these countries, how China be carrying outthe upgrading and the transformation of the industrial structure to keep the long andhealthy growth?Studying the United States and Japan, the main developed countries of theworld,we found that in these counties the economic development and the adjustment ofindustrial structure is closely linked. In the industrial structure, the proportion of themanufacturing sector has been gradually declined and the proportion of service industryhas been occupying a leading position, this process is defined as to deindustrializationby academic circles. In the process of adjusting the industrial structure, has Singaporealso experienced such a typical deindustrialization process in which manufacturingindustry gradually being weakened, or is there a structural industrialization phenomenon?In the process of its industrialization, how the industrial structure is upgrade? Whatexperience and revelation will it give to China’s industrial structure adjustment?Based on the above background, this paper attempts to study the Singaporeindustrial structural adjustment process through deindustrialization pespection, in orderto achieve some inspirations for China’s industrial development.This paper mainly adopts the combination of history and logic methods, comparison and analysis methods, empirical and normative research methods.The firstchapter,the research of this article introduces the background and significance, and putsforward the question will be researched, and then describe Singapore’s industrializationand industrial structure adjustment of research status at home and abroad, and alsosummarize this problem of the research status at home and abroad.The second chapter,first of all, Singapore modern industry characteristics will be analyzed in details, andthen put forward the measure to industrialization of some indicators to Singapore tostudy the formation of industrialization; conclusions that Singapore is obvious structuralde-industrialisation. Then describes the Singapore to the cause of the industrialization,finally through data analysis measure to industrialization of Singapore’s economicgrowth and industrial structure effects.In the third chapter,focuses on analysis ofSingapore to industrial process optimization of industrial structure adjustment. Thischapter mainly divides into three pieces, first elaborated the factor of Singapore’sindustrial structure adjustment, and then describes the Singapore on the development ofthe industrial structure, finally, the analysis of Singapore’s industrial structuretransformation impact on industrial output and industrial workforce. The fourth chaptersummarizes the existing industrial structure problems in China’s economic development.And based on the third, forth chapters, by drawing experience from the industrializationprocess of Singapore, this part draw inspiration for china. The fifth chapter is theconclusion and prospect. This part make a summary of this paper’s analysis, andsummarizes the room for improvement and some problems worthy of further study.
