Economic growth high-profile economic circles promote the social productive forces progress and growth of national wealth has always been regarded as a hot research topic. One of the driving factors of the economic growth rely the internal regulatory role of the market mechanism, there is external to promote macroeconomicpolicies by the state role. Tax policy is a policy of national macroeconomic policies. Therefore, to study the relationship between tax revenue and economic growth has a very important practical and theoretical significance.This article first explains the general theory of tax revenue and economic growth, and compares with seven provinces in eastern China, Shandong Province, on thebasis of tax revenue and economic growth; Shandong Province, the tax burden inorder to more fully reflect the level of Shandong Province, the tax burden from thevertical, sub-industry, more comprehensive studies of the sub-taxes. After a comprehensive study of Shandong Province, tax revenue and economic growth, trying to complete analysis of the impact of various factors on the tax revenue. The secondmodel is for short-term fluctuations between taxes and economic growth and the long-run equilibrium studies using Granger causality test to study the relationship between tax revenue and economic growth in the lag period. In order to determine the correlation between tax revenue and economic growth in Shandong Province.Finally, on the basis of summing up the conclusions, optimize the industrial structure, encouraging the expansion of consumer demand, strengthen tax collection and other ancillary measures four aspects of policy recommendations to promote the coordinated development between taxes and economic growth in Shandong Province.
