After our country transforms period finished by adition of WTO,our country abolished all foreign banks in the domestic many of the limitations of business,our country banking industry will also gradually realize open up to the outside world,and constantly and the international community.In such circumstances,chinese commercial bank faced domestic and international two market competition andchallenges.Because of competitive pressure,China’s banks is trying to become the allround banks.China’s state-owned commercial banks (below in the full text are referred to as:state-owned commercial banks) are restructured by state monopoly banks which are established in planned economy period.In the beginning,they did their business in their own fields,and now their financial business are almost same.They all experienced from professional system to commercial system and to share-holding system.Because of long-term monopoly position,huge capital scale and nationalwide business network distribution,the state-owned commercial banks are still in the more dominant position at present.However, they are facing more competitive challenges in the market economy. Although the state-owned commercial banks are developping long,they have nationalwide business network and stable customer base,fhey have to do more in order to enhance the core competitiveness and maintain the leading position in the market,and this is their subject.The paper analyses how the state-owned commercial banks enhance their core competitiveness from the internal value chain perspevtive in this context.At first,it states the background,significance of the paper and introduce the domestic and international research literature about this paper.At second,it introduces of the core competitiveness theories and value chain theories.On this basis, it elaborates the core competitiveness theories of the state-owned commercial banks. The fllowing is the present situation of the core competitiveness of state-owned commercial banks,mainly is the big five state-owned commercial banks, and it points out the problems that they are on the core competitiveness and has carried on the reason analysis.Based onthis,And then,it establishes the internal value chain structure of the state-owned commercial banks,including the fundamental value activities and auxiliary value activities,and analyses the relationship between the internal value chain and the core competitiveness of state-owned commercial banks. Moreover,it builds the core competitiveness evaluation index system of the state-owned commercial banks based on the internal value chain.According to this,it will explain the evaluation index detailedly and collect datas about it to analyse the core competitiveness of state-owned commercial banks.So,the paper can get conclusions. At last, through the empirical analysis to provide the related conclusion,it puts forward the proposal about how to enhance the core competitiveness of the state-owned commercial banks from the internal value chain perspevtive.
