A Study On Dalian Logistics Management Problems And Its Countermeasures

In recent years, modern logistics are developing quickly as an emerging industry of national economy in China. Its unique "the third profit source" has aroused the attention of government economic authorities, transportation, businesses and community. Urban logistics is a complex logistics system with a set of multiple functions, which relates to the business and economic development in the modern society, the rational development in the transport industry and people’s living standards. Therefore, it is necessary to establish and improve an efficient city logistics system with the rapid internationalization development in our large and medium-sized city.Logistics development in Dalian city is beginning to take shape. However, there is a certain gap with the developed countries and some early modern logistics developing city. Therefore, the whole logistics industry in Dalian city is facing some important issues, such as how to learn from the development experience at home and abroad, and accelerate the development of modern logistics industry in further. At the macro level, the development and consummation of logistics is conducive to further improve the allocation of resources in region’s economies and transportation industry. The industrial structure can be reasonable adjustment and improvement. Then the overall operation quality and effectiveness will be enhanced. At the micro level, the development and consummation of logistics can reduce the operating costs and enhance the market competitiveness of various business enterprises. The economic efficiency can be improved. Then the enterprise will be stable and rapid developing.In this paper, document analysis, theoretical research and comparative analysis are used to research the logistics industry in Dalian City. The economic status, the geographical advantages, and the development of logistics industry are analyzed systematically, on the basis of detail research on the advanced urban logistics management system. And then the disadvantages of Dalian city logistics management are summarized to improve the logistics infrastructure and distribution system. Based on the strengthen management of urban logistics, the logistics performance in Dalian city will be improved in comprehensive approach. In order to speed up the rational development of modern logistics in Dalian city, this paper recommends some suggestion, based on the method of combining the theory and practice. In the first place, the unified leadership and coordinating role of government should be enhanced. In the second place, the urban logistics infrastructure need to be uprated, then the common distribution system will be established and improved. In the third place, logistics in transportation management should be promoted. In the fourth place, the government should promote the logistics industry information construction and strengthen the education of logistics person. These suggestions are expected to provide a practical guide in the rapid development of modern logistics industry in Dalian City under the related problem solving and rational planning of logistics industry in the future.
