Nowadays, Chinese enterprises are facing the challenges of intensified industrycompetition, labor costs rising and talents competition, etc., and owning highperformance talents has become one of the core competitive advantages for enterprisesto achieve success. Therefore, attracting, retaining and motivating the high performancetalents are planed as the the core task of human resources management. Compensationmanagement is one important power of driving talents to be high performance. Moreand more enterprises get to know the importance and necessities of compensationmanagement, and begin to construct a scientific and efficient compensationmanagement system. In recent years, domestic enterprises are gradually introducing thewestern compensation management theories to design compensation system. Butbecause of the differences between nations, some confusions and problems areencountered in the implementation and application of the theories in domesticenterprises, especially in large diversified group enterprises.In this thesis, the related theories of compensation management mainly includingconcepts of compensation and compensation management, compensation system design,compensation budget management, incentive theory etc. are applied, combined with thesituations of the CHEG Company’s compensation management and practical research,to investigate the CHEG Company’s compensation management system. Discussionsand analyses are made about present situations and existed problems, optimizing ideasand improving scheme are suggested about the compensation management mode,position compensation system design, compensation budget management, incentivemechanism and so on. Through the evaluation and verification of implementation inCHEG Company, the effect of the scheme is proved to be significant, standard companycompensation management mode is established, the compensation system is perfected,and fairness and incentive of compensation is improved.The results in this paper can provide effective methods to CHEG Company’scompensation management and achieve the scheme’s targets. They can also serve astheoretical and practical references for compensation management system of other domestic group enterprises.
