With a new round of environment changes in industrial economy, global valve manufacturing industries have been transferring plentifully to China. Increasingly frequent merger integration and capital operation followed by growing competition in the domestic valve industry, and finding development road of survival calls excellent domestic valve manufacturing companies’ attention to the industry market research. To meet the development needs of the QS companies, to do a study and point out the development direction of its future development strategy is necessary. This paper is about the study and some proposed own views regarding to QS valve manufacturing enterprise. First of all, with the background of current enterprise’s actual situation, this paper summarizes the theory of strategic management and research tools, providing a theoretical basis for the commencement of the thesis. And then, proceeds the analysis from general methods taken by the enterprise strategic management. Detailed analysis with PEST method on the enterprise (industry policy environment, economic environment, social demand environment and product technical environment), as well as the analysis on the structure of the enterprise by using Bain taxonomy; Analysis on competitive situation faced by QS companies with the usage of Porter’s five forces analysis method. Using SWOT analysis method combined with all aspects of the enterprise’s current situation as well as different needs of domestic and international valve market, to point out the proposal of the company’s competitive strategy and concrete measures to ensure the implementation of the strategy.
