The Study On The Export Trade Of Agricultural Products Of Hunan Province To ASEAN

As the start of CAFTA and the "Early Harvest", the average export tariffs from our country to ASEAN countries became further reduce, which also result in the Hunan agricultural products enter the ASEAN’s costs be reduced. Except the area adjacent to the ASEAN like Guangdong、Yunnan province, Hunan is the first one to be pushed to the front strip of ASEAN’s bilateral trade cooperation. Because of the agriculture resources endowment differences between Hunan and ASEAN’s countries, it makes certain complementary exist between Hunan and ASEAN’s agricultural products, Hunan agricultural products encounter a further open market opportunities to ASEAN. This paper mainly divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction, to expound the paper’s background、sturdy purpose and the significance, to clear the idea、methods and contents of the sturdy. The second part is the analysis of agricultural products and trade of Hunan province, to discusses the situation of Hunan agricultural products and trade generally, to introduce the factor endowments of Hunan’s agriculture products, to clear the economic status、structure、 proportion of Hunan’s agriculture products, to show the scale、varieties、country of Hunan’s main agricultural export. The third part is to do SWOT analysis of Hunan agricultural products first, to detailed the advantages、disadvantages、challenges and opportunities when Hunan agricultural products exports to ASEAN; Secondly, using related factors of "Diamond Model" to analyze there have some competitiveness in Hunan agricultural exports to ASEAN, and then through both levels to analyze and evaluate the competitiveness. The fourth part is to find out the problems and reasons in Hunan agricultural exports to ASEAN. The fifth part is to put forward some suggestions which could strengthen the export trade between Hunan and ASEAN according to the above part in view of the present situation and the problem crux.This paper expected to make clear the specific environment which Hunan agricultural products exported to ASEAN, there is some competitiveness or not, how to solve the problems according to the descriptive statistics analysis、the SWOT analysis、the Diamond Model analysis method, in order to benefit the Hunan agriculture and the development of agricultural products to ASEAN trade.
