Since the1990s, intra-industry trade has gradually become an important part ofSino-Japanese trade, the development of intra-industry trade is of great significancefor optimizing the structure of trade and adjusting the industrial structure of the twocountries. China is the largest developing countries, Japan is the big country ofscience and technology, If China carries out intra-industry trade with Japan actively,not only good for improving China’s position in the international division, also canimprove the scientific and technological content of our products by learning advancedtechnology from Japan,then narrow the technology gap between China and Japan.High-tech products intra-industry trade take an important part in the Sino-Japaneseintra-industry trade, this paper focuses on the impact factor of the Chain-Japan’shigh-tech intra-industry trade, as well as how to promote the further development ofSino-Japanese high-tech intra-industry trade.Firstly, this paper analysis high-tech intra-trade situation of between China andJapan by calculating the static index of intra-industry trade(G-L index), found that thelow level of the Sino-Japanese high-tech intra-industry, and at present China’shigh-tech product trades are very unbalanced, mainly for the advantage of cheap labor,and is in low-level stage in the production and processing of the international division.Secondly, the intra-industry trade is divided into two types of horizontal and vertical,found that it is still a low level of vertical intra-industry trade between the twocountries by using the classified Trade Index(GHM index). Finally, this paper analysisthe specific factors of affecting the Sino-Japanese trade in high-tech industriesthrough empirical methods and econometric models, respectively the factors of thenational level and market level, It was found that the economic openness, the size ofthe market, Japan’s direct investment to China, technological progress have asignificant positive effect for Sino-Japanese high-tech industry trade, while thedifferences of the economies of scale and the resource endowment differencesbetween the two countries have a negative effect. Finally, according to the empiricalresults, the recommendations are listed for improvement the development of China’shigh-tech products industry trade from the national level and market level: government should strengthen macro guidance, set up rational marketing system;increase the support level for high-tech industry; Speed up the upgrading of industrialstructure; the market level, the enterprises should absorb social investment bymulti-channel, increase the input of technical innovation; build the high-tech R&Dbase featuring the leading level. Implement human resource policies which isconducive to technical innovation. |
