The Empirical Research On Contract Control And Swift Trust Affect Innovative Alliance Formation Performance

Due to limitation of innovation resources and itscapacity, more and more enterprises prefer to choose a brand new method such as integratedor cooperated innovation while sticking to the socialist road with Chinese characteristics.Innovation alliance, which is a new organizational form, is now developing rapidlynationwide.The innovation alliance is the research object of this paper, and the paper describedrelated research of intellectual property risks, contractual control and rapid trust in innovationalliance, analysis the intellectual property risks affected on the performance of innovationalliance formation, and as well as the regulatory role between contract control and swift trustin knowledge property risk and innovation alliance in the performance of relations, thenfollowed by presented a structural equation model and six assumptions. Based on the datawhich collected by questionnaire, the paper give an empirical analysis and test a theoreticalmodel to verify theoretical assumption through statistical analysis the SPSS17.0and LISREL8.70.The results showed that:First, there is a negative correlation between the risk of intellectual property andinnovation alliance formation performance. The contradiction, which is between theinnovation alliance requirements for sharing of intellectual property rights and the naturalattributes of intellectual property itself, leads intellectual property conflicts among themembers. There would be a great loss to the property owners once the risk of intellectualproperty rights created.The negative correlation actually does not work so much between the risk of intellectualproperty rights and innovation alliance formation efficiency while it works more on contractcontrol risk for intellectual property and the relationship between innovation allianceformation quality. Throughout contract control, the members could explicitly stipulated eachother`s responsibilities and obligations of all parties, and at the same time it pointed out theright of protecting their own interests when others damage the innovation alliance, so thiswould be beneficial to reduce the negative correlation of the risk of intellectual property rightsto the quality of innovation alliance formation. At the same time to formulate detailed reasonable contract calls for pretty of time and that leads the contract to control risk ofintellectual property rights could not affect the innovation coalition formation efficiency.Finally, swift trust creates negative correlation on the relationship between the risk ofintellectual property rights and innovation alliance formulation and it is creates more on therisk of intellectual property rights and the innovation coalition formation efficiency. Highlevels of trust could have the skills and knowledge shared among the members and have thehesitation and possibility of input incomplete reduced, which could reduced the negativecorrelation caused by the risk of intellectual property rights. Swift trust, additionally, couldincrease the willingness of cooperation among members while reduce opportunistic behavior,which as well as reduces negative correlation created by the risk of intellectual property rightsworks on the quality of innovation alliance formulation.
