Intra-industry trade research is the and the cutting edge of the international theory. it can explain the real situation of trade between countries nowadays.But, most author put the emphases on the industrial inter-industry trade that happen between china and developed country.and the information of the inter-industry trade about Chinese farm produce is scarce.this text in just to research the level of the intra-industry farm produce trade happen between China and ASEAN.Because the short distance of the geographic and the little difference in the culture,the ASEAN country have to be the main partner for a remote time especially in the modern time,whit the development of the globalization, the connection between China and ASEAN is becoming more and more osculating.China is a agriculture country,and most country of the ASEAN is basic in the agriculture economy, the research in trade of the farm produce can reflect the character of the trade,so,it’s meaningful to research the intra-industry between china and ASEAN.with the start-up of the free trade area in2003,the economical communication of both side meet a new opportunity,the volume of trade will continue to grow,with the development of the volume of the trade, the configuration in the trade will change essentially,the both side gradually transfer from inter-industry to intra-industry.in this text, we use the G-L index which was invented in1975by Grubel and Lloyd,and the bruhart index and the Tom&McDowell index to measure the trade after the start-up of the free trade area,in order to analyse the development of the trade in both side. after we analyse thoese there index,we arrival at a conclusion,the intra-industry index trade has arised year by year,and so does the marginal intra-industry trade,most of which is VMIIT. of course,there is diversity around through the ten countries, then we come to the conclusion that after the start-up of the free trade area, it affect the farm produce trade through countries deeply,the level of the intra-indusry has boosted.At last,basic on the analyse of this text,we advanced some advice aim at the country lay and the industry lay. For the country,the government should accelerate the develpmen of extractive industry and enhance the status of this industry.and optimize the framework of this domain, rise the level of all species trade.then to try hard to improve the construction of infrustructure,make a fair compete environment. for the industry, we should extend the diversity of all the species,improve the technological input, development the green agriculture. after all the positive measure we can look forward to rise the volume of the trade between China and ASEAN, meet the need of consumption of citizen of both side.
