| During period of "the Eleventh Five-year Plan", under the principle of "Paying equal attention both to development and economization, Putting energy conservation in the first place, Improving the efficiency of resource utility", China’s energy saving and comprehensive utilization of resources has made significant achievements. During the period of the Twelfth-Five-Year Plan, China has always given priority to implementing sustainable development strategy.In Suzhou, more than600companies’annual coal consumption is above3000T, including about150chemical fiber enterprises. Since printing and dyeing enterprises are featured with heavy energy consumption, heavy pollution, the great importance of energy saving and greenhouse gas mitigation is self-evident.Based on the energy auditing for chemical fiber enterprises, a series of energy-saving measures have theoretically and practically been presented through analyzing the current situation, identifying problems and exploiting potentialities. And to accelerate the elimination of high-energy backward techniques, technologies and equipment, and to adjust the enterprise products, technology and energy consumption structure, the development and application of new techniques, new method, new equipment and new materials has been highly strengthened. Additionally the technology of energy-saving and consumption-reducing has been adopted as the basic way to transform the economic growth mode and to regulate the industrial structure. And to achieve the energy conservation in technology and structure, optimization of production processes and upgrade of product structure shall be advanced.In2006, Suzhou, led by the Economic and Trade Commission launched a pilot project on enterprises’ energy auditing, hit the first in the country. It is verified through practice that energy auditing for is one of the most effective ways to solve enterprises’, especially for chemical fiber ones, problem of energy-saving and comprehensive utilization. |
