In the background of expanding domestic demand and promoting consumption inour country, the development of personal consumer finance is significant. It canprovide financial support for consumers to expand the effective demands of theconsumer market, promote the development of consumer industry and stimulateeconomic growth. It also can speed up the development of retail business andintermediate business in financial institutions, promote the development of businessdiversification, improve the service organization system and strengthen thecompetitiveness of financial institution for the business growth to provide greatpotential profit point. The development of personal consumer finance can promote aneffective adjustment of economic structure and make a comprehensive upgrade inindustrial structure. To ensure stable and rapid economic development,economicgrowth should rely on coordinated pulling of consumption, investment and export. Italso can promote the upgrading and transformation of residents’ consumption to meetthe full range of different levels of consumer demands, greatly enhancing theconsumption level and living standards of people. This thesis studied on consumerfinance. Firstly, it expounds the theoretical and practical significance of researchingconsumer finance. Secondly, the theoretical bases for research on consumer financeare explained; the research status and results at home and abroad are described in thefield of consumer finance; partly representative and influential academic viewpointare listed. Next, consumer finance is defined and the scope of study is given a clearlydefinition and a detail description. Then, the development of condition of personalconsumer finance is analyzed, including: opportunities, advantages, threats andweaknesses. Later the SWOT-LCVP model analysis is used in this article, there areopportunities and threats in the external environment, advantages and weaknesseswithin the financial institutions in the combination of two, and then to be given thequalitative and quantitative analysis, the final results can make people more accurateunderstanding of the presence of the opportunities and threats of influence degree ofbig or small, the internal advantages and disadvantages of playing the role of strong orweak. This helps departments at all levels to hold working key, manage clear job trainof thought. There is a certain significance of development countermeasures researchon individual consumer finance. Last, aiming at the existence of many shortages, fromthe external environment in the construction of the regulatory mechanism, securitysystem, propaganda and education, credit system, legal system and distribution system; to industry and enterprise internal construction of approval system, productdevelopment and innovation, risk control system, rural market development and so onare given corresponding countermeasures and recommendations. In the end thefull-paper is summarized and straightened out as well, the future has been forecasted,clarifying the potential and vitality of the development of the consumer finance.
