A Study On Influence Of FDI Non-Balanced Distribution To Growth Of Regional Economic Imbalance

With the process of economic globalization, Foreign Direct Investment in Chinarealizes enormous growth, FDI promotes the rapid development of China’s foreigntrade, and becomes one of the indispensable important power of the economic growthin China. However, large-scale introduction and the use of the mass FDI at the sametime, we must also see the very imbalance of FDI in China’s regional distribution. Thenon-equilibrium of Foreign investors gathered in a region causes the imbalance growthof regional economic. Long since this can lead to regional economic gap, and effect onour country’s development of regional economy. Therefore, there is an urgent needfrom both theoretical and empirical aspects, to study China’s FDI non-equilibriumdistribution of the impact of the development of regional economic imbalancesin-depth.On the basis of the regional distribution theory and the research of regionalgrowth difference, This paper firstly studies of FDI non-equilibrium distribution inChina from the space, the quantity and the spillover effects on the status ofnon-equilibrium distribution. Then it uses empirical method to study if the unbalanceddistribution of FDI would lead the imbalance of China regional economic growth, andanalysis what kind of the impact of FDI on the regional economic imbalancedisequilibrium growth is. Through the above analysis, this paper puts forward valuableand targeted feasibility countermeasure, to narrow the unbalanced distribution of FDI,and finally realize our country’s regional economic to the coordination and rapid development.In the part of the research on our country FDI unbalanced distribution. Firstly, weresearch FDI distribution of our country, use the statistical analysis to describe ouroverall FDI distribution characteristics; then collect and arrange the data of the FDIdistribution of the east, the Mid and the west and analyze the FDI performance to showthe number of FDI in China unbalanced; Further put forward is, the spillover effects ofthe FDI of our country is unbalanced, illustrate the spillover effects of FDI and analyzethe areas of high and low differential factors affect FDI spillovers. From the analysis ofthe three points, the characteristics of Chinese FDI regional distribution is unbalancedat present situation. FDI obviously shows distribution pattern of "east high west low".The eastern region in foreign capital scale and on the growth rate are significantlyhigher than the central and western regions, and the central and western regions of FDIaccumulation effect is not apparent. This makes the gap of FDI widening, and gatheredthe gap of economic development is also widening.In the empirical study of the influence of disequilibrium distribution of FDI onChina’s regional economic imbalanced growth, empirical analysis is divided into twoparts, the first part is the impact of the number of FDI regional disequilibriumdistribution on the imbalance of economic growth. By constructing the productionmodel, through the regression analysis, get the conclusion of eastern the economyimproved FDI is greater than in the Mid and west, so the number of FDI indisequilibrium distribution will increase the imbalance development of areal economic.And then analyze the impact of the spillover effects of FDI on the imbalanced growthof the regional economy. By establishing the evaluation index system of influencingfactors and model, this paper makes a positive analysis, and concluded that technologyspillover effect of the FDI in western, central, and eastern are different, FDI in theeastern region technology spillover effect the supreme, the central region oftechnology spillovers is slightly lower than the eastern region, the western region FDItechnology spillover effect is the least. Through the number of FDI respectively andthe spillover effects of the analysis of the disequilibrium, all can find disequilibriumdistribution of FDI entire east Midwest regional economic growth imbalance.In conclusion, according to actual situation the paper propose policy andsuggestions, in order to narrow disequilibrium distribution of FDI, and reduce theimpact of imbalanced growth of China regional economy. One the one hand, Countriesattract investment and industrial layout adjustment in the macro, to improve the investment environment, improve access of foreign capital capability, and build up tothe legal system of investment, give the Midwest more preferential policy to attractinvestment. On the other hand, we should pay attention to the industrial structurelayout, construct the Midwest regional industry group, play FDI combined effect,promote the Midwest more effective use of FDI.
