Research On Industry Cluster Competitiveness Of Shandong Shouguang’s Vegetables

Nowadays, the competition of industry cluster begins to replace enterprisecompetition and become the mainstream of economic development. Related studies ofindustrial cluster are becoming more and more in-depth in the field of economics. Theevaluation of industrial clusters’ competitiveness becomes the key change of industrialclusters’ competitiveness from theory discussion to actual application. But for theevaluation of industrial clusters’ competitiveness, people often research on the basis ofthe industrial cluster of industry, rarely study the competition ability of the industrialcluster of agriculture. In recent years, Along with the national strengthening attentionfor agriculture, the development of agriculture gradually becomes the focus of attentionand the industrial cluster of agriculture is becoming important innovation organizationof rural economic development. Therefore, researches about agricultural industrialcluster are appearing. At present, agricultural industrial cluster in China developsrelatively backward, not only the number is small but the competition ability is bad. Asone of the most influential agricultural industrial cluster, industrial cluster aboutvegetables in Shandong Shouguang has basically matured, but is still in the stage ofcontinuously consummating and improving. As practice proves that the competitiveadvantage Shouguang’s vegetable industry derives from industry cluster, the research ofindustry cluster competitiveness about Shouguang’s vegetables has certain practicalsignificance for speeding up the development of vegetable industry in Shouguang.Meanwhile, it will also play a positive role in guiding the establishment anddevelopment of agricultural industry cluster in other areas of China.The first part of this paper introduced the choosing background, significance andframework, research situation home and abroad and the innovation places of the paper.The second part expounded related theories and evaluation model of industrial clusters’competitiveness through reading a lot of references and related books about industrial economics, which established theoretical foundation for the following analysis. Thethird part analyzed present situation of the development of industry cluster aboutvegetables in Shouguang through the field survey and visiting local enterprise, farmersand accessing relevant statistical yearbook, theory combined with data, then had clearerunderstanding in industry cluster about vegetables in Shouguang. The fourth partanalyzed industrial cluster competitiveness about vegetables in Shandong Shouguang onthe basis of diamond model through the investigation and study. The fifth part pointedout the existing problems of industry cluster about vegetables in Shouguang inaccordance with above theories and the conclusion of the qualitative analysis and putforward the corresponding policy and suggestion in allusion to these problems.
