Consumption is the driving force of economic growth.With the rapid developmentof social and economic, the level,the structure and content of the consumption affectedthe production of social life largely. Through the successful experience of economicdevelopment at home and abroad, troika in stimulating economic development, that is,consumption, investment, exports, the proportion of consumption in the nationaleconomy should be maintained at around60%, is the economic development benignmodel.After the reform and opening up in1978,China’s economic growth is driven byinvestment in the past three decades.Consumption has been in a weak state. Compared toinvestment and exports consumptionhave an important role in promoting economicgrowth.In particular, after the financial crisis in2008,how to start domestic drivenconsumption growth appears to have a very important research value.In recent years, with the accelerated pace of rural urbanization in China, the YangtzeRiver Delta region, especially Zhejiang area, by virtue of the superior geographicaladvantage and priority to the development of the implementation of the strategy, ruraleconomy developped greatly, income levels rural residents rose,also the consumptionstructureand upgrad. Compared to the Yangtze River Delta and other economicallydeveloped regions, as the old northeast industrial base, the contribution of Liaoningconsumer to economic growth is a very small part. How to start Liaoning ruralconsumption has far-reaching theoretical and practical significance.First from the perspective of economic theory, this article described the relationshipbetween consumption and economic growth of Western economic theory as well asdomestic and international literature review.In the same time in the second chapter thepaper discusses the mechanism the way in consumption how to influent economic growth.Secondly, from the beginning of the third chapter, the paper describes Liaoning historicalchanges in behavior and the status quo perspective of the consumption of rural residentsand analyzes the influencing factors of Liaoning rural residents’ consumption. Chapter IV,based on the analysis of the theory and the status quo, this article use a regression toanalyzes the contribution of Liaoning rural residents ’consumption to economic growth analysis, the relationship between urban residents’ consumption and economic growth,and finally with the input-output to analyzes Liaoning rural residents’ consumption tostimulate the growth of other sectors of the national economy; Chapter, according to thefirst few chapters of exposition, the paper put foword how to stimulate economic growthand promote consumption of countermeasures.On two parts of the theory and practice, this paper uses the empirical analysis andnormative analysis method to analyze the relationship between rural residents’consumption and economic growth in Liaoning.The purpose of the paper expect to findthe countermeasures that can bring Liaoning economic growth and can broadconsumption of rural residents in Liaoning.
