This paper takes the Rural finance theory as research foundation, and uses relevantknowledge in statistics, Institutional Economics to make a research on the developmentmodel of GrameenBank,Through analysising the statistical economic indicators,GrameenBank organizational structure and its recruitment system designed to ensure that it hasplenty of advantages in human resources, The status of the Grameen bank and the designof new deposit products greatly expand funding sources to ensure its sustainablemanagement, The group guarantees model and the new loan incentive system greatlyincreased the membership cost of default.On the basis of researching relevant theories and previous research literatures ofChinese and foreign scholars, This paper is divided into four principal parts. The first partsummarize the microfinance operation principle and give a brief review of theinternational course of development of micro-credit. The second part do a research on thetotal loans to the scale of funding sources, coverage, financial indicators. Theapproximate course of development of The Grameen Bank is divided into three stages.From1976to1983is the first stage. From1983to2000is the second stage. Since2000is the third stage. And do a research on the organizational structure, funding sources, theguarantee model, lending procedures and repayment methods. The third part found thatthe successful experience of the Grameen Bank can be summarized “people oriented”service concept, the strictly control on the risk of lending system and commercial loaninterest rates. The fourth section provides a brief summary of China’s development ofmicro-credit situation combined with the previous of part of the study conclusion. withreference to the successful experience of the Grameen Bank to provide some policyrecommendation on the development of microfinance in china to promote the rural poorout of poverty. Narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas and realize the goalof building a harmonious society.
