Differentiation and segregation of urban living phenomenon since ancient times,but highlights the market economy system and highly developed under the land usepolicies. Since the founding of P.R.C., our country has experienced many forms ofurban residential development with significant impact of different policy periods.Especially since the reform and opening policy and the carring out of the fullimplementation of land compensation policy, housing market supply causes acertain degree of differentiation of the phenomenon of urban living. Thedifferentiation of urban living the negative impact has affected the socio-economichealth. Such protection of housing policy has also been introduced.As the economic center in northern, and the international port city, Tianjin’sown research on residing differentiation phenomenon is too simple. Compared to theother major cities in China, only a few scholars of the distribution of land prices inTianjin to do some research, and simply made from the phenomenon ofdifferentiation of living in Tianjin, the lack of adequate data to support. Therefore,researches on Tianjin Central Urbanized Zone were launched, conduct socialresearch, TCUZ differentiation status of the living to do an intuitive statisticalunderstanding, and also, according to the relevant differentiation theory, combinedwith the results of research data, a preliminary analysis of its underlying cause.According to research findings, the existence of the TCUZ living differentiation wasconfirmed, but also not very severe.
