Our country’s policy objectives are committed to increase labor income and enhance employment rate. Service industry as a powerful engine is taken seriously to stimulate economic growth, optimize industrial structure and create jobs. Although the advantages of China’s service industry are not highlighted, but its development space and development potential is huge. It is known that FDI play an important role in promoting industry upgrading and improving productivity. In the view of manufacturing sector inflowing FDI have stimulated GDP growth rapidly, so we hope the service industry absorbing FDI can make our strategic objectives come true, which are expansion of domestic demand, increasing employment and promoting economic growth.There are six chapters in the thesis. The first chapter is the Introduction, which describes the research background and significance, literature review, research contents and methods, also the shortage and innovation of the text is in this chapter. The second chapter is related to the elaboration of the definitions. The third chapter analyses the theory of service FDI and its dynamic applicability. Chapter IV is a comprehensive understanding of the situation about China’s service inflowing FDI. Chapter V uses Factor Analysis to extract potential factors which affect FDI inflowing service sector. Then we get the total scores. Next we use Cluster Analysis to classify the main regions of our country according to the total scores. We hope that the research can offer a method to narrow regional disparities. Chapter VI points out how to take advantage of the service FDI to promote the development of service industry on the bases of corresponding policy objectives, balancing the pros and cons.
