Coastal tourism is a global industry, the world’s future economic developmentgrowth points, coastal countries have increased their investment in coastal tourismdevelopment. China’s coastal areas is in the high degree of openness, have rich touristresources and significant regional advantages, more in-depth regional cooperation intourism development, is the region with the highest level of development of inboundtourism, the main source of China’s international tourism foreign exchange earnings.This article, drawing on the tourist flows and economic geography theory, startingfrom the market point of view, select the relevant data in the "Yearbook of TourismStatistics" and "tourism sample survey data, the use of mathematical statistics, themethod of regional economics, from the macro starting scale first inbound tourismflow scale analysis of coastal areas (11provinces of Liaoning, Tianjin, Hebei,Shandong, Shanghai, Su, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan), staticsource market structure and competitive conditions characteristics, and then transfercharacteristics on the dynamic flow pattern after entering the tourist flow in thecoastal areas and inland exploration, proposed to promote inbound tourismdevelopment. The main conclusions of the article are as follows:(1) First, in terms of location, traffic location, economic development andresources, occurrence coastal Bohai Rim, Yangtze River Delta and the Pan-PearlRiver Delta economic circle of the qualitative analysis of inbound tourism by theTheil coefficient estimates obtained between the three regionsdevelopmentdifferences gradually decreased, but internal differences of the Bohai Sea regiongradually expanded to reduce internal differences of the Yangtze River Delta and thePan-Pearl River Delta region.(2) The first is a detailed analysis of the coastal inbound passenger total rate ofchange of source market structure, characteristics of visitors, purpose of travel andconsumption structure, and then use the SSM (Deviation-share) method estimatesthe competitive position of the source marketsand found following2005, the totalpassenger coastal areas of immigration is growing, the growth rate is small comparedto the country in the western region, the coastal entry passenger and foreign exchangeearnings growth rate lower; from the source markets,Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwancoastal areas, the largest source market, and comparison rankings of the fourcontinents and passenger growth in2010followed by the Americas, Europe, Oceania,Asia. The source structure of the provinces of tourists, the largest proportion offoreigners of the Bohai Sea region received, followed by south decreasing, whileHong Kong, Macao and Taiwan tourists up to the Pan-Pearl River Delta regionreception, followed by northward decreasing; tourists in the proportion of males washigher than that of females, age structure of25-44years and45-64years two types ofpeople and business travel, sightseeing and leisure visitors to the highest proportion; ranking of tourist spending, the Yangtze River Delta, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang andthe forefront.SSM analysis of the results is that there is a certain proportion of the rapidgrowth tourist market in coastal areas, the market structure of the overall touristareas is better, but the competitive development of the16largest source have six litersdrop, including the largest market for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan marketThailand,as well as remote in Europe, the Americas, Oceania, and their growth rates low for thecountry as a whole, the competitiveness of a declining trend; Japanese and Koreanmarkets in Asia and Russia, Singapore markets, these markets have a significant shareof advantages, while growthrate is rising, so they are a strong market for futuredevelopment; other Asian markets such as Malaysia, the Philippines and Australia,their competitiveness and increased market share, and need to be further cultivate.(3) The first is the analysis of the gathering and transfer of the status quo of theflow of tourism in coastal areas, followed by the flow characteristics of the coastalareas of the tourist flow transfer, including the inflow index, the change index,transition density and spatial concentration, found in coastal areas-entry transfer flowoverall line cloudsgrowth of traffic intensity, within the three regions, tourist flowpresents the "cohesion" within the Yangtze River Delta and Yangtze River Delta to theBohai Sea and the Pan-Pearl River Delta transfer flow intensity in the region betweenthe Bohai Sea and the PanPearl River Delta transfer flow strength is small; theexternal relations of the Yangtze River Delta region is high, and internal tourism todevelop a balanced, big difference between the Bohai Rim and the Pan-Pearl RiverDelta regional tourism development level of provinces and cities; state matrix can betransferred from the five coastal provinces of tourismcoastal tourism flows inlandtransfer market showing a "trend" and "Feng", the proliferation of provincial touristflows exist "distance decay" law.Finally, for coastal areas of inbound tourism market development, products,markets, and regional cooperation to promote coastal inbound tourism development.
