With The globalization of the economy, more and more opportunities of exploring the international market has brought to enterprises, competition of inter-corporation has become increasingly intense and complicated. Strategic alliances comprise both competition and cooperation. Become the new choice for multinational development strategies. However,the strategic alliance is not a panacea, success and failure of the cases are all common. The analysis of the success or failure of the strategic alliances, whether to choose the strategic alliances, what kind of strategic alliances to be chosen become the key and difficult points.The paper introduces the concept of multinational and strategic alliances. The comprehension of multinational is emphasized on the feature, The comprehension of strategic alliances is emphasized on the background and the type of organization. The theoretical support of multinational strategic alliances is based on the game theory, transaction cost theory, value chain theory, enterprise resource theory, social networks theory etc, trace for the generation of strategic alliances, looking for the basis of strategic alliances. The analysis of the causes of multinational strategic alliances according to six parts: the scarcity of resources, learning from each other, reducing cost and risk, developing new markets, economies of scale, strategic motives. The analysis of the influencing factors concludes macroeconomic factors and microeconomic factors, combining with a representative case and Chinese corporate status quo. The analysis of Chinese corporate strategic alliances generalize four problems, they are the form of strategic alliances, government regulation, awareness, and the choice of industry. Finally, making policy recommendations on five points: finding the right position and seize the opportunity; carefully select alliance partners; trust, communication and coordination in alliance;change the forms of alliances;reduce the risk of alliance.
