Behavior Research Of The Tourists From Guangxi To Taiwan

Tourist Behavior is a significant part of tourism research. Tourists as the main objection of the travel and tourism studies, has attracted the attention of scholars from home and abroad. In recent years, paying a visit to Taiwan, a popular tourist destination, has emerged gradually with distinct characteristics of mainland residents who go to Taiwan. However, the domestic research related to the behavior of mainland residents to Taiwan is rare, mainly focusing on motivations and obstacles of going to Taiwan on the economic, political and other aspects with scattered study.Explored Guangxi to Taiwan tourists from a theoretical perspective and summarized their demographic characteristics based on the objective conditions, and psychological characteristics of subjective expectations of behavior, the factor system featured with behavioral appearance based in the behavior process. With the study of those behavior characteristics and the following four aspects, it answered the question that who will go to Taiwan from Guangxi, where they would like to go, why they decide to go to Taiwan from Guangxi and how they plan for their trip. On the basis of empirical analysis, this paper make suggestions about local government, tourist destination and travel agency, expecting a continuous development of Guangxi-to-Taiwan tourism and becoming a reference for the whole country to develop such industry.
