The work of agricultural land grading and evaluating is an important part of land and resources management. With the second national land survey work having been completed gradually,and basing on a new round of land resources data base,the gradation evaluation of agricultural land has very important significance. By reference to the latest valuation of agricultural land grading procedures, the author analyze the background and significance of agricultural land grading and evaluating, described the method of gradation evaluation of agricultural land from a technical point of view, and use C#language and the GIS component MapObjects completed the designing and accomplishing of the the agricultural land grading and evaluating information system, and interpret the necessity and practicality of agricultural land gradation evaluation information system furtherly as an example of Xingzi County in Jiangxi Province.This paper is divided into five chapters. In first chapter, the author starts from a research background and significance of paper, summarizes the land evaluation study at home and abroad, explains the purpose and urgency of the designing and accomplishing of the agricultural land gradation evaluation information system; In second chapter,from the theory of the gradation evaluation of agricultural land and information technology, introduces the principles of agricultural land grading and evaluating technology and the selection of information systems development environment.In third chapter,the author discusses the system from the software engineering point of view in detail, mainly including the system overall design, system requirements analysis, interface and module design, data structure and database design, math model and arithmetic design and so on; In fourth chapter,Xingzi County, Jiangxi Province as an example of the system has been tested to achieve effective results; In the last chapter summarizes some of the system development and design experience and makes a number of system deficiencies.This article combines with the theory of agricultural land’s gradation evaluation and practical work, using C#language and MapObjects components developed by the valuation of the agricultural land gradation evaluation information system, supporting evaluation of agricultural land level (divided into two groups of paddy field and upland) and the level of benchmark land price in Xingzi County achieves the desired results.
