Yunnan Resource-based Industrial Core Competitiveness Research

The resource-based industry is very important to Yunnan province, itis the pillar industry of Yunnan. the resource-based industry of Yunnan is full ofpotential, As one of the provinces developing resource-based industry very long, thedevelopment of Yunnan resource-based industry is very important to China’s economy.The resource-based industry is very important to the economy of Yunnan, it is not onlymakes great contributions to the development of the Yunnan economy, but alsopromotes the employment of Yunnan and drives a series of industry. However,resource-based industry is impacted by resource exhaustion, the international economicenvironment and other factors in recent years, the resource-based industry of Yunnanface a series of problems. If we want to keep the resource-based industry competitivein a long term, it is necessary to enhance its core competence, so how to evaluate andimprove the core competence become urgent needs.The thesis is to find a way to enhance the core competence of resource-basedindustry in Yunnan. It is not only summarizing the core competence research situationat home and abroad, but also the theoretical basis of core competence, and makes someconcepts clear. On the basis of structure, technology, clean and security, employmentand additional value, the thesis analysises the core competence situation of Yunnanresource-based industry, establishing the index system to appraise the core competencesituation from2001to2010. The conclusion shows that resource owner scattered,labor supply fluctuation and others factors are the reasons influencing the corecompetence of Yunnan resource-based industry, and the thesis promotes some policysuggestions such as coordinate resources system, perfect resource management system according to the analysis above.
