As a result, we are in greaturgency to establish a tailor-made financial analysis report system for the specialneeds for our SMEs.The essay at first discusses the research background and significance as well asthe current national and foreign status of SMEs financial report analysis system,following by the basic theories which establish a solid foundation for the system setup. Many aspects are covered such as analysis methodologies, financial indicatorsystem, etc. With an intensive investigation of both SMEs and software companies,systematic analyses including demand analysis and feasibility analysis are performedand conduct systematic flow analyses in accordance to the constructing thoughts offinancial reporting system in SMEs. Additionally, three aspects are included in thesystem design such as general structure, function module and database documents.Last but not least, system reliability testing will be discussed by importing the reportdata.This system adopts Microsoft Windows as operation system, Microsoft VisualStudio2008as system interface design and Microsoft SQL Server2005forcomprehensive database design. For its unique design in accordance with industryneeds for SMEs, the system can perform without other financial softwares andevaluation standards can be designed. Three financial reports can be automatically ormanually imported through this system. Detailed analysis summary will be exportedto users by bringing together basic financial analysis indicator system, frequentlyused financial analysis methods as well as the rich experience from experts. Therefore,decision makers of SMEs can free themselves of the tedious data transfer and speedup their work efficiency. Competitiveness of SMES can be improved to a great extent.
